PHP

Partial Hospitalization, or PHP, is the most intensive level of  treatment that we offer at Foundations Recovery Center. Our PHP program will help you continue your recovery on a part-time, intensive basis, designed specifically around your needs as you take the next steps in early recovery.

Whether you are moving from inpatient care or joining Foundations Recovery Centers PHP program as the first step of recovery, your personal treatment plan will meet your strengths and needs as you lay the foundation for your path to recovery.

Medical Care

Effective recovery programs treat the mental, physical and spiritual aspects of addiction.

At Foundations Recovery Center you will be seen and assessed by our on-site nurse practitioner, who will administer care during your treatment.

Any necessary medications will be delivered on site, and every patient has access to psychiatric care when needed.

Intense Therapy Plan

During our PHP program, we engage each individual in an intense, individualized therapy plan, delivered in group and individual settings.

Addiction is isolating, groups allow you to break down barriers, and learn to share and communicate in an open and honest manner. Group members offer their own personal insights and experiences to approach and solve problems from different angles. Groups can also help you begin to build a recovery network with others in the Baltimore area.

With the structure and security from the program, you can begin to take control from your addictions, and move forward. Your therapist will be selected for your needs, matched with their education, experience and expertise. Our staff is well-trained, knowledgeable and aware of new developments in the field.

Family and Community Health

At Foundations Recovery Center, we not only help each individual work on themselves, but we work to give you the tools to mend broken relationships, heal damaged families and allow you to to be an engaged, positive force in your community.

Family therapy and support is a cornerstone of our treatment. At Foundations we offer various support services for any of your loved ones. Family support groups meet on a regular basis, where our staff work on helping your family understand addiction, create healthy strategies for support and identify how to establish healthy boundaries.

Physical Wellness

While you are in treatment, you are healing mentally, spiritually and physically. While you may no longer be dealing with acute withdrawal, substance abuse often has long-term physical withdrawal effects, and active addiction often leads to poor nutrition.

We will provide you with a variety of wellness services, including on-site visits from yoga teachers and exercise instructors. You will have access to group exercise classes and the ability to use your local gym or fitness facility, when appropriate.

Food may also be served on-site, and healthy snacks will be provided. Case managers will work with you on nutritional education and grocery shopping, creating healthy meal ideas and shopping lists.
